This series, Jeanene from Winederlust is meeting wine experts and travel specialists asking the 'hard hitting' questions we all want to know leading into the festive season.
In this episode Jeanene is chatting with Simone O'Connor at Instagram @whatsimsreads. Simone was the Black Friday Competition winner to have an episode!
- What to serve? Simone makes the canapes including chicken and herb tart, pesto and semi-dried tomato vol au vent, figs and prosciutto to go with Champagne.
- What to give? A bottle of wine; or books - Fabulous Ladies Guide to Wine by Jane Thomson and Riesling in Australia by Ken Helm and Trish Burgess
- Where to visit in Australia? Canberra district. Favourite cellar door is Four WInds (where she was married), favourite wines include Clonakilla, Helm, Nick O'Leary and Ravensworth.
- Where to visit overseas? Central Otago in New Zealand - Amisfield winery.
